What are you doing when no one is watching? That's really something to think about. Cameras are everywhere. Making it easy to perform or project a certain image. But what happens and who are we when there's no one left to see us?
Personally I have found that how I behave when the only person to hold me accountable is myself, is more important than my behavior when there's an audience. Many times we forget God is always watching, he knows our challenges and our victories. Doing our best when no one is around to pat us on the back says so much about who we are. The areas of my life that need improving makes me realize the importance of being the same publically as I am when there's no one watching. It does something for the soul when you are able to accept personal short comings deal with them, and move on. Each of us will always keep parts of ourselves to ourselves, that's how it goes. But we always want to live a life of self respect. If I can't respect me, why would I expect anyone else to? Living true to who we are so that how we behave in private will not become our public downfall. We are unstuck and we are free.
The old saying remains true today. The true test of a man’s character is what he does when no one is watching. Absolute truth. Thx for sharing!
