What do you want?

Updated: Aug 14, 2023

Life is asking what is it you want? The question becomes, do we really know? How many people take time to write down the things they desire, places they want to go? We become bored with our lives because often we have so little to look forward to.

One of the best things I believe a person could do for themselves is to dream and write those ideas down. Many have heard this Biblical principle "without a vision people perish." The greatest thing about knowing what you want is that at any time you have the power to change your mind. It's a list you can keep private, share if you choose. But some things people will not expect you to have. And we can't allow others to talk us down. I find that being clear with myself about the things and people I desire to be a part of my life keeps me clear of people and things I do not want in my space. It's like a guiding system, helping to navigate through decisions and keeping the focus on the end result. Taking time to map out life is important, of course things won't always fall in place when or how we expect. Usually, the outcome is better and when it seems like we've failed we must remind ourselves it happened for our good. And for our protection. Ponder on what it is you want for your life and write it down. Look at it daily and as things begin to happen, mark them off and celebrate. We can't move forward if we don't know where we are going. Only then will we begin to advance in the direction of our heart's desires. We are unstuck and we are free!
