Warning!

Why do we ignore God's warnings? If we think about our lives and some of the problems we've dealt with there may have been a warning that we overlooked or disobeyed. You would think that we would have enough sense to listen to the God who knows the beginning and the end of everything. Yet, we disregard the "heads up" he loving places in our hearts, or a thought in our mind, and sometimes through a conversation with someone. We often find ourselves in dilemmas and facing heartaches that could have been avoided. Then we turn to God for help out of the very thing(s) he was trying to protect us from. (Proverbs 3:5-7 , Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the Lord, and depart from evil.) God wants to be involved in every aspect of our lives, our business is his business. He loves us so much that when we aren't hearing him at times sends the message to someone we know through a dream or a thought. And with all of that many times we still disregard the caution sign. We often think our way is best or we can fix or change things. It's easy to disobey but it's very difficult to endure the consequences. I am working to cultivate hearing the warning signals & obeying them so that I don't waste time doing useless things or connect with the wrong people. All of which can have a major impact on our lives. I've heard stories on the news and have often wondered if the victim had a warning. Not obeying in some cases could cost us our lives. Our bodies are designed with an internal warning signal & often we don't listen. For some of us the message only registers when we're suffering a major health crisis. Warning! Warning! Proceed with caution. Don't do it. I hope today's post inspires us all to pay attention, listen, and obey the warning signals God is sending us. And never forget, we are unstuck, and we are free!

Great words of wisdom. Oftentimes, most people I know (mainly me) make decisions based on what I believe at the time is the right way . Then, when the outcome is different from what was expected or completely disastrous, we expect GOD to come in and save the day.. One or my favorite scriptures, " Trust in the Lord with all thine heart and lead not to our own understanding rings true. We should not expect great results from bad decisions. I'm learning more daily that there are consequences for our actions, be it good or bad. I must completely trust GOD and know without a doubt he with direct my path. One phrase goes, it if sounds t…

So well said, I am now aware that I must first acknowledge God, and as you stated, we make decisions, and when the outcome isn't favorable, we expect God to fix it. Lord, help us!
