We must remove the locks from our minds while opening them to good things. And make the decision to throw away the keys to low level thinking . So often we are reminded of the power of our minds yet we take this law lightly.
You and I can't create a fulfilling life with negative thoughts. Sometimes removing those locks will require ending relationships, finding a new career path, or connecting with new people. Our circle has a lot to do with the barriers in our thought life, we can't move ahead if we are surrounded by people who feel progress isn't possible. If we stop and think of the mental blocks we carry day to day it may surprise us how it shows up in our choices and hinders us from going after our dreams. The ideas are placed within us to fulfill, that's why often people feel unsatisfied in a career or relationship because life has much more to offer. We tend to sell ourselves short as if we are insignificant, we're not! Imagine yourself removing all the barriers of your mind and how freeing your life would be. Scripture clearly states, "as a man thinketh in his heart so is he." A good exercise for us may be to jot down the mental locks as they pop up in our thoughts, sometimes we may overlook them and not understand how they are impacting us. If I want joy, I can't dwell on thoughts of sadness. Surely our thoughts will manifest, we are the locksmith's of our minds and hold the master key to our mental freedom. Use your thoughts for good, we are unstuck and we are free.
This was good Q! The unknown is so scary. it is hard to fathom why in our human nature the unknown automatically means something worse than what we are familiar with. What if is is good? What if it is better? Why not decide to operate in faith instead of fear. It’s usually the unknown that’s holding us back from something far greater than our human minds can even ask or think. Thanks for the insight.
So powerful. So true. So many times I’ve looked around me and couldn’t figure out what everyone else had that shot them up to the top and left me below looking up at them. Over time I began to slowly realize the only thing they had that I didn’t, was the mindset to reach the top. Where I was, was just as far as I could see. So, that’s as far as I would go. I join you today in releasing the lock off my mind! Great inspiration!
