Today an old song came to mind. The lyrics are: nobody told me that the road would be easy. I don't believe you brought me this far to leave me. Such an uplifting reminder that through our difficulties God will not abandon us. It is easy to focus on the hardships of the moment while forgetting how far we've come. We must not allow fear nor
discouragement to take root in our hearts or minds. As far as you've come do you really think God will leave you now? Dismiss those thoughts. Instead remind yourself of the last time God intervened and made a way when you couldn't see a way. We are in a constant battle with our minds. And it's so important to monitor our thoughts and feelings. Life is designed to challenge us however, we must remember God is greater than anything or anyone that comes up against us. Let me encourage you to keep your mind on the good things God has done for you. Don't allow the worries of today to be the reason you fall into despair and doubt.
