How often do we take inventory of the image we're holding of ourselves? Or how much or little we value our contributions to our families, workplaces or life in general? How well do you esteem yourself? Often we find it easy to speak well of others while using the opposite words when describing ourselves. Self esteem is such an important part of how well we do in life, it impacts literally every aspect of living. I've heard it said that someone with low esteem finds a person with high self esteem to be arrogant. That's not the case at all, when we fail to see our real value there are so many opportunities we won't pursue.
Why is it easy to find treasure in someone else? But at times many act as though finding it within is an impossible task. I've found that speaking positive affirmations out loud helps maintain a healthy self esteem. It helps build up a guard around those negative thoughts. Even when others fail to see the value we bring, we must not fail to see it within ourselves. Our value isn't found in anyone's opinion. It's found first in the belief that God created a masterpiece when he designed you and me. And second, it's found within. What we believe about ourselves. I hope from this moment forward you begin seeing yourself in a new way, raising your esteem and knowing that you are absolutely amazing.
Received. We are all masterpieces created by GOD...
Absolutely true! Great words of inspiration!!
