The message is simple, life is good but it's also short. We must begin making ourselves a priority, have you had your annual exams? Are you sleeping and eating well? Let this be a reminder to put yourself and your needs on that "to do list".
Often people tend to burn themselves out for others or for their jobs. Our bodies typically alert us when there's something not working right. Yet many times we overlook the signals, reminder you must take care of you! It's your responsibility to be good to yourself. Whatever that is for you, it may be a day off, a checkup with your doctor, or simply saying no. Do those things that provide love and care for you, we never want to look back on our lives with regret. Your health be it mental, physical or emotional needs looking after. It deserves your full attention. We are unstuck and we are free.

My 28 year-old daughter passed in July of a stroke, which was due to excessive high blood pressure. She was working on her second master's degree and had just gotten her first career job. However, she was not giving her health the same priority as she gave her education and career. As a business owner, I too push myself sometimes working 65 hours a week. Now that she died, I now know how important my health is. So I say to you, despite how much you chase business or your career, make sure…
Amen! I hope everybody’s listening to this one. I had to make the decision a few months ago to leave behind what was burning me out. It’s one thing to work hard, it’s another to work to death. Be it work, someone, or something, our well-being should always come before any of it!
