Right Attitude

Everyday I am in need of an attitude check. So that it aligns with the good and not the turmoil and let downs daily life can bring. Our attitude is the gauge in which we respond to our challenges and those around us. The past three weeks I've had some curveballs thrown my way and to my surprise I've responded with a sense of calm. There truly was very little I could have done to change what was taking place. It almost felt strange to walk away, smile and focus on something else. It reminds me of the passage of scripture that says, the joy of the Lord is your strength. (Nehemiah 8:10). That joy gave me the boost I was in need of despite what was happening. It keeps my attitude and mindset in a positive pattern, understanding that life happens to us all. There's so much we have little to no control over. Our attitude, however, is in our hands. We choose to react, respond and speak from what's really taking place inside of our heart. We can't be at peace externally if within we are in turmoil. For me, maintaining the right attitude is something I work on constantly. As you and I go through this day let's do a self exam of our attitude. And may we always recognize the impact good or bad it's leaving on others. Let's be the reason people smile and respond to others the way you want to be responded to. Thank you for reading today's post, please feel free to share with a friend. And never forget, we are unstuck, and we are free!
