Life changed in 2020 and hasn't been the same since, so many things have taken place in such a short amount of time. Personally, several people I knew have died in different and unexpected ways. It's made me evaluate my life and consider where I would spend eternity when I die. I am a believer of Jesus Christ and I do believe both heaven and hell are real. It's so easy for us to become consumed with this life that we forget about what occurs after death. As scripture teaches in Hebrews 9:27, And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment. My question to myself is am I living in a way that can stand God's judgment? In our society many people seem to shun God. And give very little consideration to anything pertaining to Him or to their soul. This blog was created to encourage each reader to live a life of fulfillment and grow personally. In my opinion personal growth and fulfillment isn't complete without spiritual growth and development. How can I only focus on this part of my life and not consider what happens after death? For me it's a bit scary how merciful and long suffering God is. At times we can begin to believe we've escaped judgment or we can become complacent in our sins and never change our behavior. I've found that God will direct those who choose to open their lives to His leading. It's not easy to do because often times I find that what I want is not what He wants for me. It becomes my choice to surrender to His way. God may not give us what we want but He will always give us what we need. I want to encourage you to inspect your life daily and ask God for guidance on how to live so that He's pleased. There is nothing that this world has to offer that's worth eternity without Him. I hope you are encouraged by today's post, please feel free to share with someone you love. And never forget, we are unstuck, and we are free!
