Do you find yourself stuck in the opinion of others? Too often we allow what's being said to or about us to become a hindrance to moving forward. I find it interesting when people give me their unsolicited suggestions on what I "should" do. Specifically when it's in an area they're not in nor have mastered. I've learned that my best response is to listen with an open mind while taking in anything that may be useful. My reaction says more about myself than the "advice" being offered.
Also keeping in mind that it's simply an opinion, the impact of their words is up to me. Many times people have great ideas but are more concerned about what "they" may say or think. Forget about the naysayers, "they" will always be there. I have come to the conclusion that it's up to me to act upon the ideas God places in my heart. And I've learned not to take any opinion good or bad to heart. If you find yourself feeling afraid of moving forward with your dreams because of what's been said or may be said. Do it regardless. We must recognize the opinion that matters most is the one God holds of us. Has He chosen you to do something amazing? Yes, He certainly has! So why allow anyone to interfere with that? If you like me okay, if you don't, that's okay too. We must truly grasp hold to the knowledge that God's reach extends beyond the circle of people we know. He has the ability to propel us so much further than we could ever imagine. Free yourself from the opinions that have become your set backs. Never forget, we are unstuck, and we are free!
