Listen

Do you ever find yourself at a crossroad not knowing what to do? I've been there a time or two. In those moments, if we stop and listen our answers will be revealed. God often speaks to us in subtle ways. Through a thought, an idea, or a suggestion. Many refer to this as "something" told me what I should do. It's important to look within more than seeking external advice. Too often we depend on the opinion of others without acknowledging the one who created us. If we seek for answers He will allow them to unfold in ways that will amaze you and I.

We live in a time when many people consider themselves an expert. You can literally drive yourself insane with the number of voices grasping for your ear. But I've found that in the stillness of my mind lies what I need to know. It's as simple as asking, "God what do you want me to do?" Once we ask the next step is to wait for His reply. Biblical principle reminds us that if we call on Him, He will answer. I hope you are encouraged today to listen to that inner voice knowing that God has only your best interest at heart.
