Change begins within & often there are subtle signs while other times there are blaring signals that we must do things in a different way. Has a thought ever popped up in your mind about something you should change or fix?
Some dismiss the ideas or suggestions because meaningful change isn't easy and requires us to address areas of our lives that we often want to ignore. I've come to realize there were many things I complained about and at times felt powerless to change that I now know I posses the power to transform. When we complain and make excuses why we tolerate our lives instead of fully living them it's because that is the easy way out. People who excel in life are doing so because they've decided to and are willing to pay the price. Anything worth having will require something from us, often revealing a better adaptation of ourselves. You and I can choose to accept the cue that it's time to upgrade our lives or we can remain where we are. Truly our growth is nothing more than a product of our choices and disciplines. We are unstuck and we are free.
Well, if you can’t say amen, just say ouch. OUCH! The signs are as clear as they can be right now, just got to get the weights off and make the decision to do something about it! Isn’t that awful? We know we’re miserable, not living up to our potential and not where we want to be, yet we stay where we are rather than rising above it or doing what’s necessary to change it. All I can do right now is 🤦🏾♀️. But thanks for reminding me of what I know to be so true! :)
