Don't be Afraid to Live

Today as I reminisced about the past year and a half I thought to myself I have really lived and enjoyed my life. Let me clarify that I haven't taken an exotic vacation or anything that most people would find exciting. I have however met some really wonderful people that have had a positive influence on me. I've found myself really appreciating what and who I have in my life. The more simple things are, the more thankful and meaningful they are to me. Each of us define living in our own way. For me living is being able to appreciate the rain and not complain. I've come to understand that this life is so much more than most of us ever truly experience. For many people life is filled with many task and not much time to get them done. Eating dinner on the go and constantly rushing. I am all for being productive, I have a daily list of things I want to accomplish. Recently my eyes have been opened to areas of my life where I need to improve and make changes. Living involves changing and getting better, accepting wise advice. Especially from someone whose life is the result of the good advice they're giving you. Does your life make you feel alive? What do you really want and are you doing anything to bring that dream to past? It's so common to hear people complain about their lives and put little to no effort in changing them. It wasn't death that I feared it was not living. I stopped being afraid to live and decided to do things differently because God granted me this day and who am I to take it for granted or waste it? I realized that I prefer trying and things not working out over not doing anything at all. I want you to live, not just exist. Life is worth all the effort we put into it, when you feel there's no support keep doing what you love. Allow yourself the happiness of doing it for you, the fan fair will come when it's time. I write these post because it gives me a place to express myself and it brings a sense of fulfillment. I also write to inspire others to live a fulfilling life, and if no one reads my post, that's ok! I've done something that I have the desire to do. And that's just as important as having you read the words from my heart. I hope you are inspired to live your life with everything you've got. Don't do it for anyone else, do it for yourself!
