Discouragement can creep upon us in many ways, we must remember that life is filled with ups and downs. Good and bad, if you feel discouraged do something to uplift yourself. Despite what you're feeling speak positive words about yourself and your situation, we want to train our minds to work with us and not against us. I find that when I feel a little blah, getting up, taking a shower, making the bed, putting on clean clothes, and combing my hair helps. Refusing to give in to those feelings can be a fight, but it's worth it. Keeping our thoughts uplifted and giving ourselves grace I find, can help through moments of discouragement.
