Discipline

Many times we fail to accomplish things because we choose not to discipline ourselves. While this blog is dedicated to motivating and inspiring each of you to live life fully and turn your dreams into reality, very often we forget that once motivation wears off discipline must kick in. It helps us stay focused and on track, anything great we aspire to do will come with delays and challenges.

In those moments we need our minds to shift so that our attention remains on the desired outcome. Being disciplined isn't always easy yet the rewards are innumerable. As I think about areas of my life where I've had to train or discipline myself to a new behavior pattern it reminds me of a Biblical principle, all discipline seems painful rather than pleasant, but later, it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it. A disciplined mind leads to a disciplined life, it all begins with our thoughts. What area of your life lacks discipline? Making excuses seem to come easy as it requires very little from us. Being disciplined and holding ourselves accountable is a higher way of thinking and living. I hope today's post inspires you to look at your life with a new set of eyes and bring order and discipline as needed. Never forget, we are unstuck, and we are free. If today's post has encouraged you why not share with a friend!

This is a great reminder and full of truth. Motivation is likely to fade, but discipline picks up where motivation leaves off to help us reach our end goal. I’ve got several areas where I need to be more disciplined, but my health is one major I area. Knowing what’s right but lacking the discipline to actually do tests right has berm a major issue. I will keep this post in mind as I move forward as encouragement to be more disciplined. Thank you!!
