If you are reading this post I hope you add that to the many blessings you are counting. The very things we overlook people around the world would give thanks for. I've heard it said that we should give thanks for the small blessings, personally I don't think there are any "small" blessings. Being able to read the words before you isn't a "small" blessing, there are people throughout our world who wouldn't consider reading a "small" blessing.
Yet many of us take so lightly all of the goodness that surrounds us, to the point of not appreciating it. We overlook and undervalue those who care for us and are kind to us. There are so many people who feel alone and unloved that would swap places with you and I on any given day. In this moment stop and take some time to count up the many blessings that have been bestowed upon your life & those you love. I think about the recent loss of life and it makes me so appreciative that I am here to see a new day. It's a blessing that I count up, I believe when we take a look at how blessed we are, our lives will begin to feel more fulfilled and complete. Life is and will continue to happen to us all, despite the ups and downs may we always take time to count up our blessings. Especially in difficult times when it seems like there is very little to be thankful for. Count up those blessings and do all you can to remain in a state of gratitude.
I was reminded today just how important this is! Seeing all that’s going on around the world while definitely reminded me how blessed I am. So many people fail to realize how blessed they are because they forget how unfortunate so many others are. Thanks for this very important reminder. Let’s count our blessings....daily.
