Content and Thankful

Choosing to live life with a content and thankful heart is a major key to happiness. Being content does not mean a lack of ambition. For me, it's a place of calmness with the ability to fully appreciate the now. There once was a time when I wanted to rush through everything just to get it done. And over with, now I find myself being more aware of the present. Thankful for the moment I am actually living in. Not only is it good for the mind it's beneficial to the body. A calm mind creates a calmness in our lives. At times we must on purpose find reasons to say thank you. There's nothing too small to give thanks for. Have you ever stopped to consider all there is to appreciate? I hope you are inspired to live life from a place of contentment and gratitude. Never forget, we are unstuck, and we are free!

True insightful words. We all need to slow down and step back to "Stop and smell the flowers," so to speak. We all need to appreciate and acknowledge the goodness of GOD. Continue to do what you do . It really gives others encouragement and peace of mind

But as you so eloquently pointed out, being content (or thankful) with what you have and where you are doesn’t mean you can’t strive for more, or just means that on your way to more, you show gratitude for what you have in the now. This shift in attitude is surely a game changer and does bring about that sense of peace and calmness that we all (certainly I) desire. So yes, let’s continue to grow, be inspired to do more, striv…
