Be You!

Being ourselves seems like an easy thing to do. But in today's society many have lost touch with who they are. As well as their values and beliefs. Often finding themselves bending to the viewpoint(s) of the majority. I find it interesting how one can fundamentally disagree with an opinion yet conform so easily to it.

Disagreeing with the viewpoint of someone should not be misinterpreted as hatred. I believe this is why for some, its easy to remain silent & agree with popular opinion. Versus stating ones true feelings. I'm learning daily to embrace who I truly am, and hope you are embarking on this journey for yourself as well. We've all been influenced by outside factors, which has molded our thoughts and actions. It's okay to stop and ask yourself, "who am I, really & what do I sincerely believe?" You may be surprised by the reply. I'm finding this quest to be very interesting. It feels good to think for yourself! It's so freeing to not be afraid of disagreeing with others and question their opinions. Sometimes we don't ask enough questions & we don't seek out truth. It's like becoming robotic to the views and suggestions of others. Snap out of it, gather yourself and be the insightful person you were created to be. Your ideas and opinions are just as valuable as anyone else's. I hope you are inspired to ask yourself this question, "who am I?"
