Often we push ourselves to keep going, but I've realized there is energy found living in a state of relaxation. Where we are not on edge, our bodies and minds are free of tension & stress. That place where calmness resides.
Sometimes when we are deprived of sleep, can't quite put our finger on the reason. Maybe we should consider how we are feeling on the inside.
Working from the belief that our physical state is a reflection of what's going on within, it is important to keep them in balance.
Taking time to honor ourselves and the need for rest is major, the mental and physical benefits are undeniable.
