What do you do when you feel discouraged? Your answer may offer hope to someone else, if you feel comfortable sharing. For me, I have learned to first admit how I'm feeling. I also find that being able to talk honestly with God ( as if I were talking to a friend) helps a lot. It's therapeutic for me to release the emotions. We must remember discouragement is a normal part of life but it doesn't have to become our way of living. Nor does it have to consume us, I believe in dealing honestly with myself and how I feel. It gives me freedom and stops me from living life bound up or uptight. Talk, write, let your feelings out in a safe and healthy way. And don't pretend to be ok when you're not. We can't move past an issue that we're not honestly dealing with.
